My personal Mail service configurations

Using Thunderbird - https://www.thunderbird.net/ja/, I set multiple email accounts and enable

• Favorite Folders

• Unified Folders

in the side panel.

For the “Folder Subscription”, basically, I disable it for some uninteresting folders, including:

• folders for tests

• folders for long-term archives, which I don’t want to sync/copy in the local

  • FILES*, dumps-archives, …

and create some “Search Folder”

• Inbox 01D

  • Choose “Inbox” from the accounts

  • Ages in days < 1

• Inbox 05D

  • Choose “Inbox” from the accounts

  • Ages in days < 5

• Inbox 10D

  • Choose “Inbox” from the accounts

  • Ages in days < 10

I then update the account settings for the accounts to disable server sync for

• Archive folders

• Spam folders

• Trash folders
