Troubleshooting Log

launching vmshell failed: error starting crostini for terminal: 74 (start_lxd_failed_signal)

(on 2024/03/03 , ChromeOS ver: バージョン: 121.0.6167.188（Official Build） （64 ビット） )

and saw the following when running vmc start terminalin crosh terminal (with ctrl+zlt+t)

Error: operation vm_start failed: failed to start lxd: FAILED: Starting LXD failed: Unable to clear path "/mnt/stateful/lxd/database": rename /mnt/stateful/lxd/database /mnt/stateful/lxd/database.old: no space left on device

  • This says “vmc resize”, so I just used ChromeOS Settings menu
