Overview

This page summarizes Haruki Sato / 佐藤 春旗's activities and experiences during my long vacation ( Past Announcements - Haruki Vacation 2024-04~08 ) from April 20th to September 8th, 2024.

Thanks to the sabbatical, I could focus on what I needed, wanted, and was genuinely interested in. I hope this report helps readers understand my experience and provides information for those interested in similar adventures.

While I didn’t achieve everything, I would rate the sabbatical 8 out of 10. During this time, I achieved several goals:

• 📚 Learning: I learned several topics, including coaching and pre-MBA courses.

• 🗺️ Travel: I visited several places to expand my knowledge and experiences (and for fun )

• 🎭 Personal Projects: Besides visiting great places, I also spend time on things I’ve wanted to do/know/experience so far. Some are for fun, future goals, or experimentation.

• 🏥 Medical Care: I explored the medical care I was interested in.

However, I also had some un-achievements, where I missed or failed in executions, particularly in health, fitness, and time management.

Sabbatical 2024 - Reports - Learnings

I learned 防火・防災管理 (Fire and Disaster Prevention), completed an onsite training for the Gallup Global Strengths Coach program, and started courses in the Globis MBA program. I have obtained or am in the process of obtaining certifications for these programs.

During my sabbatical, I visited several places in Japan to expand my knowledge and experiences, as well as for fun 🥳 .

Notable visits included Okinawa, Kyoto, Tsushima, and other locations I had been interested in exploring.

I am also committed to activities that fulfill my various needs for knowledge/experience or other practical interests, typically learning retro goodies, enjoying museums, watching something cute.

Sabbatical 2024 - Reports - Medical Care

During my sabbatical, I explored medical treatments for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and medical hair removal. While not essential, both treatments have the potential to enhance the quality of life. The timing of the sabbatical provided a perfect opportunity to research and consider these options in more depth.

Throughout the sabbatical, I committed to various activities that may seem miscellaneous but are actually interesting ideas to me. These include 3D Printing, Cooking, Socializing, Visiting my hometown, and more.

These activities also construct my life with real value; I could spend more time on them while I am off work.
